Launched and operated a successful graphic design firm serving as an agency-level creative resource to a variety of industries such as Academia, Biotechnology, Consulting, Financial Services, Healthcare, Health & Fitness, Non-profit, Performing Arts, Pharmaceutical, Retail, and start-up enterprises. Body of work included—but not limited to—the creative direction and development of corporate identities and their related visual systems for print, web, and multimedia collateral. Effectively participated in the immediate negotiation and selection of a new public relations firm following Arcadia’s acquisition of Concordant.
Successfully merged the Concordant brand with Arcadia Solutions post-acquisition and developed Arcadia’s first in-house creative presence. New visual system infused familiar elements from both brands with updated typographical treatments and a refreshed image library, all of which were applied to innovative templates for print, screen, and web collateral. Initiated an Arcadia Writing Style Guide for the consistent use of language throughout all Arcadia marketing collateral.
Revitalized website through the concept and application of new visual system and retooled messaging for company and service lines. A complete back-end redevelopment built on Drupal allowed for in-house site publishing and content management.
Led company through its first exhibitor participation at HIMSS 2012, the leading national healthcare conference. Coordinated all aspects of pre- and post-conference planning including exhibit and collateral development, booth staff logistics, accommodations, travel, and budgeting. Supported Sales by hosting a cocktail reception for existing and prospective clients, which resulted in several follow-up meetings and proposal developments. Worked with PR firm to secure press interviews with industry trade publications.
Acknowledged for performance. Streamlined various healthcare memberships, license renewals, and event participations for cost-saving benefits. Established weekly marketing meetings and mentored staff regularly through one-on-one bi-weekly sessions. Developed frequent internal communications to inform company employees of marketing initiatives and the company’s movement in the healthcare industry marketplace. Elevated the company’s thought leadership presence onto a national level through successful bylined articles series in industry and mainstream publications such as Healthcare Informatics and Computerworld, press interviews, speaking engagements, and blog participation. Produced highly-successful HIMSS Webinars, averaging 700 attendees per Webinar.
Creative directed and maintained all company collateral since company’s inception. Responsible for re-brand initiative in 2004 to refresh the company visual identity system for print, web, multimedia, and environmental display collateral to achieve a more refined, cohesive company image. Elevated initial position of Interactive Designer to Senior Visual Designer, then served unofficially as Art Director; Assumed responsibility for the distribution and completion of all incoming creative projects.
Spearheaded the development of all new Keane-branded visual systems; Authored, published, and globally distributed the Keane Design Standards Style Guide, to ensure a consistent understanding and application of the new Keane brand.
Creative directed, designed, and produced high-profile projects such as Keane’s 2005 Annual Report, 2006 Corporate Brochure, 2006 “Making Global Work Work” campaign, 2006 “Ideas That Transform” video for Gartner’s Annual Tradeshow, Inside Story podcast-based program, and a variety of internal/external email campaigns, landing pages, and eBlasts.
Supported Keane’s event planning efforts: location and venue scouting, production house bids and selection, event themes and branding, print and web design, presentations, and video; Reduced time spent during the planning process while raising the quality of company events.
